Today, I had the esteemed privilege of meeting with the honorable Shri Eshwar Khandre , Minister for Forest, Environment, and Ecology, at the Vidhan Soudha. Our discussion centered around the vital role of bamboo in the cultivation practices of Bangalore and The Green School Bangalore TGSB). The Ministry of Forest, in collaboration with TGSB, has agreed to launch the ambitious project “Bamboo 4 Bangalore.”
This initiative, set to be unveiled soon, will mark a significant step towards enhancing the well-being and eco-sustainability of our beloved city, Namma Bengaluru. The event was graced by eminent personalities such as Shridhar Punati IFS, Chairman of the Bamboo Society of India, former PCCF, and Nikhil Gowda
